ING Media bolsters team with new hires and Director promotions

ING Media, the leading built environment PR and strategic communications consultancy has made four new hires to its senior team, as well as two Director promotions.

This news follows ING’s recent move to become a fully employee-owned business, which means 100% of the shares in the business are held in an Employee Ownership Trust on behalf of all ING Media employees.

These new appointments come as ING expands its consultancy capacity, working with cities and local authorities to help them attract investment, talent and cultural capital, as well as advising clients across property, real estate and architecture, on a range of rapidly evolving issues relating to cities and the urban realm.

The new hires and promotions are as follows:

  • Yasmin Jones-Henry, previously FutureCity and FT, joins as City Strategist - Culture and Place

  • James Child, previously BNP Paribas and EG, joins as City Strategist - Data, Research and Content

  • Lucie Murray, previously New London Architecture, joins as a Senior Consultant

  • David Taylor, Editor of New London Quarterly and Velocity, joins part-time (additionally) as a Strategic Consultant

  • Roxane McMeeken and Kimberley Hopkins are promoted to Director

The appointments of Yasmin, James, Lucie and David solidify ING’s leadership position in the built environment sector and will allow the business to continue developing its bespoke research and analytics offering, as well as to build capacity in cultural strategy and programming.

These new appointments come as the business promotes two new Directors. Kimberley Hopkins and Roxane McMeeken, who have been with the agency for four and six years respectively, will join the Management Board.

This news follows the recent announcement that Damian Wild, current Director of Market Development at EG, is to become Managing Director of the consultancy from September this year. Current Managing Director, Leanne Tritton, is to become Executive Chair.

The past few years have seen ING evolve beyond the boundaries of a traditional communications agency, to offer our clients strategic consultancy on everything from inward investment to public art programming. Yasmin, James, David and Lucie are all recognised leaders and strategists in the built environment, and we are excited to welcome them to the team. I also want to congratulate Kimberley and Roxane, two valued members of the team, on their promotion to Director.
— Leanne Tritton, ING Founder and Managing Director

Based in Shoreditch, London, ING has experienced strong growth in recent years. Earlier this month it ranked 4th in the PR Week Top 150 for business-to-business communications. The business has around 40 consultants, boasting a broad range of specialist experience across the built environment.
