Berman Guedes Stretton has built a reputation of delivering outstanding buildings for their clients and received national recognition from the RIBA, RICS and The Civic Trust on numerous occasions. The practice was shortlisted for the Architects Journal ‘Building of the Year’ in 2016 and was a finalist in the WAF Awards in 2015 and 2016.

Much of Berman Guedes Stretton’s work has been in world renowned historic environments and World Heritage Sites where their ability to design sophisticated and sensitive new build for complex and delicate sites is highly valued. Their extensive portfolio includes new and refurbished buildings in the leisure, workplace, hospitality, and arts and culture sectors where they are currently working on a new welcome centre for Canterbury Cathedral and a sustainable holiday development in Cornwall.

Within the Higher Education sector, they are known for creating high quality, innovative academic buildings, social spaces and residential buildings for some of the UK’s most prestigious universities including Warwick, Cambridge, Birmingham, Oxford Brookes, Wolverhampton, Imperial College and especially, Oxford.
