The New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) is a professional body representing more than ninety percent of all registered architects in New Zealand. In addition to supporting members with a range of services, they are committed to promoting and celebrating outstanding architecture in New Zealand. The NZIA supported an official New Zealand presence at the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale, representing the first time New Zealand entered a national exhibition at the Biennale. The participation in the Biennale was seen as an unrivalled opportunity to showcase the country’s design capability.
ING was appointed by the NZIA to manage the international PR campaign around the exhibition titled ‘Last, Loneliest, Loveliest’, curated by New Zealand architect David Mitchell, leader of a nine-strong creative team of architects, graduates and academics.
