HOPE City is the acronym of Home, Office, People, Environment. Designed by OBR Open Building Research, the multi-purpose development is the most ambitious scheme proposed for Ghana: a new city within minutes of the planned international airport, Tema port and the centre of Accra, providing direct access to international and domestic markets.
The development is an initiative of Roland Agambire (AGAMS Holdings), who serves as the Chairman of the project, and was launched by Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama in March 2013. HOPE City forms part of the National Development Policy framework, turning Ghana into a knowledge-society and an active player in the global economy.
HOPE City will conform to the highest standards of sustainable design in accordance to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and set a new benchmark for sustainable real estate development across the continent.
