Gort Scott was founded by Jay Gort and Fiona Scott in 2007, after the pair met at Cambridge University. In that short time, Gort Scott has become a leading young architectural practice known for its expertise in working within the complex urban environment.
Gort Scott’s founding principle of making a positive, imaginative and considered contribution to the built environment has seen them design a wide portfolio of projects, including residential, office and cultural spaces. Projects include a recently completed office development for Jesus College of Cambridge University, The Rock in Whistler, Canada and a submission for New College, Oxford. The practice won a 2016 RIBA National Award for its 51 Hills Road Road project in Cambridge and in 2013 won the AJ Small Project Architect of the Year.
A RIBA chartered practice, Gort Scott offers a range of services, from design consultancy to detailed design and full project management.
