A strong commitment to sustainability is embedded in the practice’s culture and this translates into the projects they work on. ORTUS, one of the practice’s most high-profile projects was ranked the highest rated building for sustainability in the Architects’ Journal.
The practice has worked with some of the UK’s leading architects on prominent projects such as Alfriston School Swimming Pool, ORTUS, Shoreditch Village, Kentish Town Health Centre, 150 Holborn, North London Hospice and numerous high-end private houses. It has also designed structural solutions for sculptures by the likes of Antony Gormley and Alyson Shotz and has, in partnership with reForm architects engineered proposals for the Rotherhithe Bridge.
Elliott Wood invests in good causes and partners with disaster relief charity RedR and the nationally renowned Polka Theatre. The practice also sponsors and is actively involved in Open City and the Cycle To… annual ride to MIPIM in Cannes.
